The world loves to talk big about “freedom” and “democracy,” but when it comes to standing up to tyrants like the Iranian regime, liberals and globalists always seem to fold. Maybe they’d like to pretend that ordinary Iranians should just walk out into the streets and overthrow their brutal rulers, as if doing that is as easy as posting a hashtag from a cushy office in New York or Brussels. But President Trump actually understands the real world. He gets what the media and the weak-kneed “experts” refuse to accept: the Iranian people are trapped in a nightmare.
For years, the liberal elite have buried their heads in the sand, ignoring the pain and fear that the Iranian people live with every day. In Iran, standing up for freedom isn’t just risky—it’s a death sentence. Trump isn’t making excuses; he’s facing facts. The regime there has unleashed savage terror against anyone daring to protest. Just earlier this year, security forces gunned down more than 30,000 protesters—innocent people whose only “crime” was demanding a better future. The left stays silent or wrings their hands, but Trump calls it like it is: the Iranian government is a pack of murderous thugs, not misunderstood reformers.
While spineless bureaucrats and Obama-era apologists were busy sending cash pallets to Tehran, Trump took decisive action. Under his watch, the world finally sees Iran for what it is—a dictatorship run by violent bullies who shoot their own people in the street. When news of Operation Epic Fury broke, liberals rushed to wring their hands about “destabilizing the region.” But Trump’s message is clear: American strength is the only thing these tyrants fear.
Some people keep asking, “Why don’t the Iranian people rise up?” The answer is simple: they’re staring down the barrels of their own government’s guns. No one can blame them for trying to survive. It’s easy for out-of-touch pundits to cheer from a distance, but try risking your life when the regime has openly promised to shoot protesters on sight. No guns. No rights. Just terror and fear. Of course ordinary Iranians cannot fight back alone.
Trump knows what the rest of the world won’t admit. Real change doesn’t come from empty speeches or useless United Nations resolutions. Real change comes from strength—and from helping people who are desperate to be free. The Iranian regime has destroyed its own country and butchered its bravest citizens. It’s time for Americans to support a leader who stands up to evil, instead of apologizing to it.
Isn’t it strange how the voices screaming “no more wars” suddenly go quiet when foreign dictators murder tens of thousands of their own people? Maybe if they spent less time bashing America and more time standing for freedom, this world wouldn’t be such a dangerous place.
