America’s so-called “human rights activists” love to scold when it’s easy. They’ll scream about locker room controversies in the NFL, post hashtags for the cause du jour, and protest any police action they can find. But where are their loud voices when Iranian women are being tortured just for kicking a soccer ball? Silence. Not a word. It’s a disgrace.
Right now, Iran’s women’s soccer team faces unthinkable abuse for even trying to play the world’s game. These brave athletes risk their lives just to step on the field. If they speak out or show the slightest rebellion, they don’t just endanger themselves, but their entire families can become targets too. The radical Islamist regime bullies and controls them with brutal force, making many American campus “microaggressions” look like a joke in comparison.
Meanwhile, the same liberal activists who demand “safe spaces” and claim to fight for women’s rights refuse to acknowledge this horror. Why? It’s simple. Taking on true evil—especially when it’s not fashionable on social media—would mean going against their woke globalist allies. Instead, they turn their heads, protecting their political narratives over innocent lives.
The hypocrisy is sickening. These activists campaign for “international solidarity” but abandon real victims in Iran because it doesn’t fit their anti-American, anti-Western script. They’re so busy blaming America for the world’s problems, they forget who the real oppressors are. When it comes to radical Islam, suddenly their feminist talk vanishes.
Let’s be honest: if these women’s rights champions really cared, they’d be shouting from the rooftops. But there’s no trendy points to score or leftist politics to push here—so they do nothing. American activists aren’t defenders of freedom. They’re cowards who only care when it fits their narrative.
Someone needs to finally ask: do liberals actually care about women, or just their own agenda?
