Whenever liberal politicians run out of cash for their grand schemes, their favorite solution is to squeeze the taxpayers even harder. Instead of cutting waste or demanding accountability, they just dream up new ways to grab more dollars from regular people.
Let’s be honest—there is nothing “progressive” about putting a heavier burden on the middle class and small businesses who are still trying to recover from the cost of living crisis. Higher taxes don’t magically make city services better. They just drive more families and businesses out of the city, leaving behind empty storefronts, more unemployment, and shabbier streets. Only a clueless elite could see endless tax hikes as a “solution” to every problem.
It’s the same old liberal playbook. Politicians like Mamdani never pay for their own mistakes. Instead, they expect mom-and-pop shops, cab drivers, and hardworking parents to cough up more cash for bloated government programs that rarely deliver on their promises. And let’s not forget—every extra tax dollar makes City Hall bigger and citizens weaker.
Who really benefits from a city with sky-high taxes? It’s not everyday New Yorkers. Globalist interests and well-connected insiders get richer, while average folks are forced to tighten their belts. Mayor Mamdani’s tax grab is a perfect example of how far out-of-touch the left has gotten. If his agenda is so wonderful, why does he have to bully families and businesses into paying for it?
