But Floridians—and plenty of Americans—remember Ron DeSantis standing up for parental rights, freedom, and basic sanity while California spiraled into chaos at Newsom’s own hand.
Newsom loves bragging about California’s supposed “leadership,” but the facts are ugly. His career started way back in 1997, and ever since, the Golden State has seen its streets fill with homeless encampments, businesses chased away by high taxes, and families fleeing in droves. The proof is clear: people are voting with their feet, moving to conservative states like Florida, not the other way around.
But liberal elites like Newsom can’t help themselves—they lie, they spin, and they act like reality doesn’t apply to them. Newsom tried to smear Florida, but DeSantis didn’t let him off the hook. Instead, DeSantis clapped back hard, calling out Newsom’s revisionist history without breaking a sweat. America deserves politicians who aren’t afraid to face the facts or tell the truth. Newsom can try all he wants to run from his record, but every slapdash lie just proves how desperate the left has become.
