President Trump stood up for American strength again. This time, he looked for backup from our so-called “allies” to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz—one of the world’s most important shipping lanes. And what did he get in return? Shrugs, excuses, and cold feet from the international crowd. The usual suspects in Europe—always ready to criticize America—turned cowardly when it was time for action. Apparently, keeping the world’s energy supply moving isn’t as important to them as cozying up to Iran or virtue signaling for globalist approval.
These five nations know the stakes. If the Strait of Hormuz stays closed, oil prices skyrocket and everyone suffers, except maybe the Iranian regime. Iran flexes its muscle, trying to choke off global energy and threaten Western economies, but our weak-kneed allies won’t even lift a finger unless America does all the work for them. They’re happy to enjoy peace and prosperity under the American umbrella, but when the rain starts, suddenly they can’t be bothered. This is what happens when leadership is left to globalists and bureaucrats who care more about what the UN thinks than defending freedom.
Once again, President Trump showed the kind of spine we desperately need on the world stage. He understands that America leads, or no one leads at all. But these European elites still think they can ride the socialist gravy train and let others take the risks. They’d rather hold endless “talks” and issue empty statements while Iran gets bolder by the hour. And leftist politicians here at home? They’re too busy blaming Trump for the world’s problems to notice real threats coming straight from Tehran.
The left loves to paint Trump as reckless, but what’s truly reckless is letting Iran control the world’s oil supply—and then refusing to back up the one man willing to do something about it. The media scoffs at Trump’s calls for unity, but when America stands alone, the free world gets weaker. Our so-called partners seem more interested in advancing woke agendas than actually standing up to tyrants. Is this what American taxpayers built alliances for—to be left holding the bag whenever the going gets tough?
At this point, maybe America needs to rethink who its real friends are. If these “allies” won’t show up when it matters, why should they enjoy the benefits of our strength? This should be a wake-up call, not just to Washington, but to every American. Trump keeps putting America first. It’s time the rest of the world stopped taking us for granted.
