It looks like America just witnessed another episode of Democrat denial. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a liberal champion from Texas, is scrambling to distance herself from tragedy. Her personal bodyguard—yes, the man she trusted to protect her—was gunned down in Dallas after a tense standoff with police. Now Crockett claims she had no idea about his criminal past. Give me a break.
This is classic liberal leadership in action. Democrats preach gun control, accountability, and “safety for all.” Yet when it comes to the people at their side, they can’t even bother to do a basic background check. Regular Americans—especially law-abiding gun owners and patriotic families—know how important accountability is. But for these elites, rules only apply to the “little people.” Their own judgment? Off the hook.
Crockett claims she saw no reason to doubt the man she hired. That’s not leadership. That’s recklessness. In the real world, anyone hiring for a security role checks every detail: criminal history, behavior, references, you name it. But when you’re a Democrat in Congress, apparently you just cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Why wasn’t there any oversight? Why do Democrats seem to attract this parade of questionable characters? Maybe because they care more about optics and identity politics than actual competence and safety. They love to virtue signal, but actual responsibility? Forget it.
Americans deserve better. If a sitting member of Congress can’t recognize danger standing right next to her, how can she possibly stand up for regular hardworking Americans? Maybe it’s time these liberal politicians start vetting their own people as carefully as they scrutinize your constitutional rights. But hey—maybe for the left, ignorance will always be bliss.
