Congressional Democrats have done it again—throwing the country into chaos just to score cheap political points. Thanks to their stubborn shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security, airports across the nation are swamped. Passengers are fuming in never-ending security lines, travel is being disrupted, and things are only going to get worse with hurricane season rolling in. FEMA can’t even do its job. And while Democrats tantrum on Capitol Hill, real threats—from terrorists and cartels—are harder to stop. Is this how they “prioritize” national security?
Let’s be crystal clear. The Trump administration is the only adult in the room, reaching out—once again—with hopes of getting our homeland back on track. The president even sent a letter trying to break the logjam. But don’t hold your breath. Everything meaningful in that letter is already in the law. Democrats would rather dream up leftist wish-list policies than actually govern. Just look at their nonsensical demands for judicial warrants during ICE raids. Even their liberal media friends admit this is a fantasy. The truth? ICE officers already follow strict policies, wear ID, and use bodycams. What more do these radicals want—stickers and hugs?
Here’s the kicker: The Democrats caused this mess because they want to halt deportations. Sorry, lefties, but that’s not happening. The agenda to enforce our immigration laws is locked in until 2029. Illegals will be sent home. They can cry about it on TikTok, but most Americans know we need real borders and real law enforcement. The Democrats are holding DHS hostage just to pander to the blue-haired, nose-ringed fringe of their party, while the rest of us suffer the consequences.
The American people didn’t elect leaders to bow to woke mobs or globalists who would rather appease criminals than protect citizens. Yet that’s exactly what Democrats are doing. They love to talk big about “compassion,” but the only thing they’re compassionate about is letting criminals slip through the cracks and putting your family at risk. It’s pure anti-American negligence—and it needs to stop.
So ask yourself: when your next flight is stuck behind miles of angry travelers or when our first responders are left crippled by bureaucracy, who’s really to blame? Democrats make excuses. Conservatives make America safe. Maybe it’s time voters remember that.
