Meanwhile, in Ecuador, Noboa handles chaos with clear eyes and a firm hand. Liberals call it “authoritarian.” Conservatives call it leadership.
The establishment crowd will always moan when someone dares to upset their cozy status quo. They want leaders who apologize, who bend the knee, and who give in to every radical demand. Noboa is putting the people—his people—first, and not wasting a second worrying about elite approval. Isn’t it time our leaders remembered who they really serve?
