The radical left is at it again, and this time, their golden boy in Maine, Graham Platner, has really outdone himself. Here’s a man who wants to unseat Republican Senator Susan Collins—someone with a clear record and backbone—and what does he bring to the table? A Nazi tattoo. That’s right. For years, this Democrat oyster farmer paraded around with ink rooted in SS imagery, and we’re supposed to believe he just “didn’t know” what it meant?
Liberals love to pretend they’re the moral police, but when one of their own gets caught, suddenly memory loss is the name of the game. Platner went so far as to apologize for that disgraceful tattoo—probably because his campaign advisors told him to. But now, with a little momentum and a seven-point lead, he’s already pulling back. He’s pretending none of this matters. Typical leftist arrogance.
Worse yet, Platner hasn’t even won his own primary. But he sure acts like Maine voters owe him the seat. This is the same guy caught training with street thugs who have more in common with Antifa than actual hardworking Mainers. And let’s not forget he was caught lying about letting D.C. consultants control his campaign. So much for local values, right? It’s the globalist playbook—pretend to care about Maine, while real decisions happen far away from the people.
Platner also whiffed completely when it came time to challenge Collins on actual issues, like Operation Epic Fury. Instead of showing substance or real leadership, he fumbled and fell flat. But that’s what you get from the left these days: activism over answers, empty outrage over real results. They’d rather obsess over tattoos and “optics” than solve problems facing Mainers and Americans.
Anyone shocked by these double standards hasn’t been paying attention. This is the same Democratic Party that screeches about hate while tolerating horrifying symbols in their own ranks. If a Republican had even a whiff of something so disgraceful, the media outrage would never end. Why isn’t the radical left holding their own accountable? Or do they only care about “justice” when it helps their cause?
Let’s face it. Platner can cover up, spin, and backpedal all he wants—but the truth is burned in, just like that tattoo. If Mainers care about integrity, this guy is the last person they should trust with their future. How many more skeletons are hiding under those Antifa t-shirts?
