It’s always the same game with the activist courts and their liberal allies. Every time an America-First president tries to take back control from Washington’s bloated global machine, some unelected judge swoops in and tells us, “No, you can’t do that.” This time, President Trump saw exactly what Voice of America had become: a taxpayer-funded megaphone for the D.C. elite and foreign interests, not the American people. He tried to shut it down and make the U.S. Agency for Global Media actually put America first. The response? A federal judge rushed in to block him and declared his move “illegal.” Pathetic.
Let’s be clear: Voice of America isn’t promoting the greatness of this country. Too often, it’s a playground for left-wing bureaucrats and soft-on-China propagandists. But the moment President Trump tried to pull the plug, the outrage machine went into full swing. Suddenly, liberal judges jumped to the defense of the very agency that spends our money to undermine our country’s values. If Trump had let business as usual keep rolling, these same folks would barely bother to mention Voice of America at all.
This isn’t about the law; it’s about power. The left loves to talk about democracy, but the truth is they trust courts and bureaucrats more than voters. When an outsider dares to touch their precious institutions—especially ones that cozy up to the world’s globalists—all bets are off. Never mind that the American people elected Trump with a mandate to shake up the government swamp. Apparently, judges get to decide what foreign broadcasts are good for us, not the president the voters send to Washington.
Why do liberals insist on keeping Voice of America safe? Because these programs are their lifelines—channels to quietly spread their worldview and keep their buddies employed. They fear someone like Trump, a real disruptor, who knows these agencies often work against, not for, American interests. When real leadership threatens their control, they hide behind the courts and pretend it’s about “legality.” Who gets a voice? Not you.
Let’s face it: America’s biggest enemy isn’t outside our borders. It’s the swampy insiders who hijack our system, block every effort to put citizens first, and use every trick in their book to keep power locked away from the people. Trump tried to unplug a tired government mouthpiece, but once again, the liberal establishment made its move. How much longer are we going to let activist judges decide who speaks for America?
