When two of Iran’s most powerful and dangerous leaders are suddenly gone overnight, and the secret behind it is not high-tech spy games, but ordinary Iranians tipping off Israel, it should send shockwaves through every corner of Washington. Yet, as expected, the left either ignores the story or bends over backwards to defend Iran’s authoritarian regime.
Let’s cut to the chase: Iran’s so-called “de facto” military boss and its infamous Basij commander—men responsible for crushing freedom, terrorizing their own people, and threatening peaceful nations—were taken out in a strike deep in Tehran. But here’s the real twist: Israeli intelligence didn’t act alone. People inside Iran, everyday families fed up with their brutal leaders, played a critical role in exposing these men to justice. These were not Mossad agents or Western diplomats. These were brave patriots risking their own lives to make Iran a safer place, not only for themselves but for the world.
But why would Iranians support Israel, the “Great Satan” they’re told to hate? Maybe it’s because they’re sick of watching their leaders siphon billions into foreign terror while ordinary children starve. Maybe it’s because the so-called “Basij” thugs beat up women in the streets enforcing dress codes, while the rest of the world’s leftists cheerlead for “cultural respect.” Liberals in the West have bent over backwards for years blaming America, justifying Iran’s brutality, and sending pallets of cash to fund more terror. And here, the people who really live under that iron fist are proving they want what we take for granted: freedom, safety, and the right to live without fear.
Of course, the response from the professional hand-wringers in Washington and Brussels will be to clutch their pearls over “escalation” and beg everyone to keep the “peace”—as if peace ever existed under these tyrants. Why is it always the ordinary citizens—never the globalist elites—who are forced to pay the price for appeasement? Maybe it’s because the international left is more afraid of freedom breaking out in Tehran than a terrorist regime getting wiped off the map.
The truth is obvious. Courage is rising in places the Democrats would rather ignore, and the axis of evil is losing its grip. When regular Iranians step up to help Israel eliminate the monsters who have oppressed them, it exposes the emptiness of liberal excuses and the bankruptcy of the globalist worldview. Maybe next time Joe Biden and his friends want to negotiate with tyrants, they should ask themselves: whose side are they really on?
