Liberals suddenly care about budgets, but only when it means attacking President Trump’s efforts to protect America. For years, the left has never batted an eye at pouring hundreds of billions into every “woke” social scheme their activists can dream up. But the second a conservative administration lifts a finger to stop a nuclear Iran, they become penny-pinchers overnight.

Now the liberal media is running emotional headlines about what $12 billion could have bought “instead” of confronting the world’s top terrorist regime. They whine that the money could have hired more nurses, handed out free food, or covered health insurance for millions. Funny—they don’t seem to sweat the price tag of open borders, endless welfare programs, or the disaster in California’s fraud-ridden budget.

If liberals really care so much about waste, maybe it’s time they shine a light on their own side. How about the billions in fraud in places like California and Minnesota—where taxpayer cash just vanished into thin air during their so-called “COVID relief”? Or the mountains of American dollars dumped into Ukraine, with barely any accountability and no plan for victory? The silence from the left is deafening.

Let’s not forget, the United States shelled out $150 billion just last year to cover the costs for illegal immigrants—ten times what’s been spent to keep a nuclear weapon out of Iran’s hands. Not a peep from left-wing pundits about that bill. But when President Trump takes action to crush Iranian ambitions, suddenly progressive “journalists” morph into accountants, counting every last nickel and dime.

Funny how the liberal priorities always line up: protect their preferred programs, dump limitless funds into globalist causes and illegal schemes, and scream only when conservative policies defend American security and prosperity. The big question is—when will the left ever admit that their own reckless spending and weak leadership have made our nation less safe, less prosperous, and less respected?
