It looks like President Trump is once again stepping up to clean up the mess left behind by the liberal elites. The Kennedy Center, a fancy arts venue in the heart of D.C., is finally shutting its doors for two years to make some much-needed renovations—thanks, of course, to Trump’s leadership. Liberals love dumping taxpayer dollars into monuments for themselves but never actually keep them in shape. It’s just more proof they can’t manage a thing without someone with a business mindset stepping in.
The board voted to back Trump’s plan to finally close down the Kennedy Center and fix it up. For too long, this place has raked in cash, bankrolled left-wing causes, and played host to the cultural elite, all while its carpets got crustier and its walls crumbled. The government throws money at these “temples” of the arts, but when real repairs are needed, Democrats either ignore the problem or slap on a band-aid.
And let’s talk about management. Now, Matt Floca will take over as chief operating officer and executive director, replacing Ric Grenell—who had only been holding down the fort as an interim head. Grenell, who was Trump’s pick from the start, actually got things running right for a change. Naturally, the left hated seeing someone competent in charge. But under Trump, things finally started moving.
These D.C. insiders love to act like they alone know what’s good for American culture. They claim conservatives hate the arts, but it’s Trump acting to save America’s most famous arts venue from falling apart. If liberals are really the champions of “the people,” why do they let their prized cultural shrine rot until a conservative steps in?
Why is it always the America First crowd cleaning up after the globalist mess? Maybe it’s because the left is too busy virtue-signaling to care about real problems. No matter how much the elites whine, Trump is the only one putting in the work. Isn’t it about time we stop letting out-of-touch liberals run the show?
