Democrats never hesitate to throw money at every pet project under the sun—unless it involves actually making America safer or getting tough on our enemies. When the chance comes to take out the largest sponsor of terror on earth, Iran, suddenly these same big spenders start clutching their wallets and whining about budgets. It’s laughable. They act like protecting American lives is some kind of reckless splurge, but sending billions to globalist causes? That’s always somehow “essential.”
Just look at the latest outrage. Instead of celebrating a real victory against Iran’s hateful regime, the left would rather cry about how the dollars could have bought more government handouts. Socialists like Bernie Sanders are leading the charge, complaining about what else we “could have funded” with the money. Here’s a guy who talks nonstop about fairness, but sits on a pile of real estate. Imagine the lectures we’d get if a conservative owned three homes while preaching about “the 99 percent.” Bernie won’t trade his mansions for an apartment, but he expects taxpayers to sacrifice security. That’s as rich as he is.
Meanwhile, the usual media suspects rush to tug at heartstrings, moaning that the billions used to break the back of Iran’s terrorism machine could have hired more teachers or padded even more bloated programs. Are we supposed to pretend Iran hasn’t been threatening to wipe America off the map for decades? Last time we checked, welfare checks don’t help when your city is smoking rubble after a dirty bomb. There’s no public housing left after nuclear fallout.
What’s even more infuriating is that these same Democrats have no problem shoveling a staggering $174 billion to Ukraine since 2022—and that conflict is going downhill fast. Suddenly there’s no talk about how many nurses that could have paid for. It’s only American strength at home that gets the left worked up about “waste.” They never turn down a foreign blank check if globalist interests are involved. Hypocrisy like this isn’t just annoying—it’s dangerous.
At the end of the day, Americans should be angry. The left’s real priority is protecting their own influence, not our country. They want you defenseless, distracted, and dependent. Maybe if Bernie sold just one of his vacation homes, he could experience what ordinary families go through every day paying for Democrat disasters. Why won’t he? Maybe because he knows socialist fairy tales sound a lot better from a luxury lake house than from a one-bedroom apartment. Funny how that works, isn’t it?
