Once again, liberals in California are driving the entire country off a cliff—and this time, it’s happening right at our airports. As families try to travel for work or see loved ones, they’re being crushed by chaos and endless lines, all thanks to another Democrat-made disaster in Washington. Instead of doing their jobs and protecting basic government functions, left-wing politicians cling to their partisan agenda and end up wrecking travel for millions of Americans.
Look at what’s unfolding at California airports this week. Travelers are trapped in lines stretching for hours, stressed, frustrated, and running late. This is not a matter of bad luck or weather. It’s the direct result of Democrats playing political games with DHS funding, trying to hold up critical government business just so they can parade their progressive wishlist. Meanwhile, the folks who pay their salaries—hardworking, taxpaying Americans—are the ones suffering.
Liberal lawmakers love to claim they’re champions of “equity” and “fairness.” What a joke. While they smugly discuss globalist deals and blue-state pet projects, the rest of us deal with their incompetence at every turn. Their priorities are completely backwards. Politicians in Sacramento and Washington care more about illegal migrants jumping the border than about American citizens just getting to their gate on time. Is this what “progress” looks like?
This is the kind of big government failure that keeps happening when the left is in charge. Democrats try to scare everyone about “shutdowns” so they can push more spending, more handouts, more control—never mind the real, everyday pain they inflict on honest people who just want to get on a plane. They say they represent the people, but it’s clear they’d rather kneecap the country to score points with their power-hungry friends.
It’s shameful. Americans deserve better—especially in a state like California, already run into the ground by radical politicians. But maybe endless lines at the airport are just what liberals want; after all, if you make life miserable enough, the public will accept anything in the name of “safety.” At this point, does anyone really believe the left has our best interests at heart—or is it time to stop letting them hold America hostage over their reckless agenda?
