When it comes to fake news, nobody outdoes CNN. For years, this so-called “news network” has built a business out of pushing hoaxes, smears, and shameless propaganda. Watching the network lately is like tuning in for a comedy hour—except the jokes land on average Americans who expect the truth.
Take their latest disaster. It started when the White House dared to challenge CNN’s coverage of the return of fallen American heroes. Instead of showing respect, CNN doubled down on melodrama and misinformation. But things got even worse when they botched a report about a so-called bombing in New York. Eager to stoke outrage, CNN spun a wild narrative involving anti-Muslim protesters, IEDs, and a mayor under “attack.” Only when caught red-handed did they quickly delete their reckless reporting and claim they just got the facts a little mixed up. Sorry, but America doesn’t buy these excuses any more.
The network’s anchors are no better. Some lazily repeat whatever appears on their teleprompter, spreading flat-out lies about a mayor being the “target” of an attack. Apologies came days later—not because they care about the truth, but because they were humiliated on a national stage. Apparently, “fact-checking” at CNN means crossing your fingers and hoping nobody notices the fibs.
Let’s not pretend this is a one-time slip. CNN has a long, ugly record of peddling hoaxes. These are the same people who claimed rural Americans would die without PBS, insisted border agents were whipping migrants, said Black babies were doomed if their doctor was white, and told everyone the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian propaganda. Dozens of their “bombshells” have blown up in their faces. Who can forget when they tried to turn the Paul Pelosi attack into a MAGA hit job, or screamed that Georgia’s voting laws brought back Jim Crow? Every time, the facts prove them wrong—yet liberals, globalists, and CNN fanboys cheer them on.
CNN’s dishonesty even cost them in court. Remember the Navy veteran they smeared by calling him a profiteer during Biden’s Afghan withdrawal fiasco? A jury made them pay up millions for that shameful lie. But where is the outrage on the left? Where are the “fact checkers” when CNN trashes everyday Americans for political points?
This is what happens when a network forgets what country it serves. CNN runs cover for foreign enemies, undermines our institutions, and acts like the truth is whatever helps their narrative. It’s not journalism. It’s a hoax machine with a globalist, anti-American agenda. Maybe the real question is: who’s actually buying what CNN’s selling anymore?
