Once again, Democrats have shown Americans exactly where their priorities lie — and it’s not with law-abiding citizens. This week, the House passed a common-sense bill: if you’re a noncitizen and you commit welfare fraud, you get deported. Seems pretty straightforward, right? Apparently, not for almost 200 Democrats who couldn’t bring themselves to side with protecting taxpayers. Instead, they lined up to defend welfare scammers and keep fraudsters in our country.
Liberals wasted no time whining that this law isn’t “necessary” because, supposedly, we already have rules to kick out criminals. That’s rich, considering the endless parade of illegal immigration and welfare abuse on their watch. Leave it to the left to call a bill “redundant” just because they’re too lazy, or too ideologically blinded, to actually enforce our laws. When it comes to cleaning up the system, Democrats would rather find an excuse than fix the mess they or their globalist buddies created.
Let’s be real: American families are hurting. Prices are soaring, borders are open, and millions of our tax dollars are drained by people who shouldn’t even be here — let alone milking our welfare programs. When Republicans try to close these loopholes and shield honest folks from fraud, Democrats rush to block the door. Who are they really looking out for? Americans, or the next wave of government-dependent voters?
The left loves throwing out big talk about “security” and “order,” but every time they get a chance to act, they side with criminals over citizens. When was the last time you saw a Democrat champion a bill that protects taxpayers from being bled dry? They won’t do it, because defending the American worker just isn’t fashionable among elites who dream of open borders and endless handouts.
At the end of the day, it’s simple: if you cheat the system, you get the boot. If that’s too hard for Democrats to support, maybe it’s time voters kick them out too. America deserves leaders who stand up for the rule of law — not ones who cover for crooks. When will the left start caring more about America’s future than about coddling those who abuse her generosity?
