Cesar Chavez has long been a hero on the Left. Liberals love to name schools, streets, parks, and pretty much anything else they can think of after him—over a hundred across America. But now, those same progressives are racing to hide his name. Why? Because disturbing allegations of sexual abuse have surfaced against the 1960s union icon himself. Suddenly, all those big, flashy Cesar Chavez celebrations are getting canceled or “suspended,” with organizers pretending it’s all about “respect” and “sensitivity.”
It’s always the same story with the Left. They build statues and name landmarks after their so-called champions, preaching about moral purity and justice. But as soon as accusations come out against one of their own, they trip over themselves to sweep it under the rug. They don’t care about the people harmed. They only care about protecting their image, just like we saw in Hollywood and politics before. The same party that canceled American history and tore down monuments is now twisting itself into knots to defend its own golden boy.
Ask yourself: Where is the outrage from the mainstream media now? Where are the campus protests, the endless lectures, the calls for “accountability” that always seem to surface when the targets fit the Left’s narrative? You won’t see them. Liberals are desperate to look the other way because Chavez is one of their chosen symbols. They’ve made him untouchable, no matter what the facts are. Who cares about the victims, as long as there are activist points to score?
America needs to wake up and question why the Left gets away with this hypocrisy again and again. Why are parents forced to send their kids to schools named after accused predators just because it suits a politically correct agenda? Why do we let globalist elites rewrite history until only their version—and their heroes—remain standing? We were told to believe all victims and hold powerful men accountable. But that rule is, conveniently, only for conservatives.
Liberals can try to erase, cancel, or ignore the truth all they want. The facts remain. Maybe it’s time for Americans to stop trusting monuments and slogans, and start questioning whose side the elites are really on. Just how many more skeletons are hiding in their trophy case of so-called “heroes”?
