Liberals Push New AI Rules While China and Iran Build Killer Robots to Destroy America

America’s Enemies Are Racing Ahead On Military AI—But Liberals Want To Tie Our Hands

Once again, liberals in Washington are racing to throw a wrench into America’s military power. This time, it’s about artificial intelligence. One lawmaker, desperate for the spotlight, has introduced a bill that would basically tell the Pentagon how it can—and cannot—use cutting-edge AI. That’s right: while Iran and China are building armies of killer robots, our politicians are arguing about whether a computer can help a soldier do his job.

The bill wants to make it illegal for military AI to ever decide to “kill a target” on its own. It would also bar the use of this technology to surveil Americans, and even bans using AI to launch a nuclear weapon. Of course, everyone agrees there need to be rules—but these “rules” are already Pentagon policy. This is all another excuse for political theater, the kind of busywork politicians love to use, while our enemies sit back and grin. Liberals can’t help themselves—they’d rather talk about regulations than protecting American lives.

The tech company crowd is getting in on the act, too. One AI giant threw a tantrum and tried to duck out of their Pentagon contracts, crying about “loopholes” and “future administrations.” Pathetic. And what did the politicians do in response? The Biden leftovers panicked, while the Trump camp acted decisively: stop using companies that won’t play ball with national security. It’s simple—if a tech company can’t be trusted on military priorities, cut them out of the loop. America doesn’t need woke corporations making battlefield decisions from Silicon Valley boardrooms.

Let’s be real—our rivals aren’t waiting for Congress to hold another committee meeting. China, Russia, Iran… they’re all building military AI as fast as they can. They’re not wringing their hands about “autonomy” or “guidelines.” They want the edge in war. So why would we slow ourselves down after decades of leading the world in tech and defense? Liberal lawmakers are flirting with disaster. They want more red tape while our enemies are building more drones—drones that could one day hunt American troops.

The left loves to talk about “responsibility.” How about the responsibility to defend the nation? Every day, restrictions like these make it harder for our servicemen and women to win wars and come home alive. If we don’t keep up, we fall behind—and Americans pay the price. So ask yourself: is it courage to hamstring our military while dictators and despots arm to the teeth? Or is it cowardice, pure and simple?
