Maine Democrats implode as Mills and Platner brawl in ugly bid to take down Susan Collins

The Democrats in Maine are at each other’s throats, desperate for a shot at Senator Susan Collins’ seat. This time, it’s liberal favorite Governor Janet Mills picking a fight with rival Graham Platner, throwing mud in an attack ad that reeks of classic left-wing infighting. Mills’ camp is so worried about Platner’s online comments that they’ve fired off a smear campaign, hoping Maine voters won’t notice just how broken their own party has become.

It’s almost laughable. The same Janet Mills who pushes the failed policies of the Biden regime now wants to police comments on the internet. That’s rich coming from someone who can’t even police Maine’s border or keep fentanyl out of our schools. Maybe if Governor Mills spent half as much time focusing on real issues, Mainers wouldn’t be drowning in high taxes and job loss right now.

Platner, on the other hand, isn’t exactly an upgrade. The Democrats can’t seem to find a candidate who understands the values Mainers care about: hard work, personal responsibility, and real freedom. Instead, it’s just more bickering, more cancel culture, and more out-of-touch rhetoric from a party that serves global interests before it serves Americans.

The truth is, both Mills and Platner are fighting for who can pander hardest to the radical left. Meanwhile, real Mainers are stuck dealing with higher costs, soft-on-crime policies, and politicians who are more interested in tweet wars than fixing our state’s problems. No wonder Susan Collins keeps wiping the floor with these so-called challengers.

This primary is nothing but a circus. If this is the best the Democrats have to offer, they might as well hand the race over to Collins right now and save everyone the embarrassment. Are voters supposed to believe these squabbling liberals can actually run the country? Give me a break.
