Tulsi Gabbard shuts down Democrat attacks as Fulton County ballot scandal explodes

When Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard appeared before the Senate Intelligence Committee, she got the usual treatment from Democrats who are desperate to distract Americans from their own failures. Sen. Mark Warner seemed especially peeved when he questioned her over the FBI’s seizure of ballots in Fulton County, Georgia. The left tries to spin every move as some “abuse of power,” but the real abuse is their endless fishing expeditions for crimes that don’t exist.

Instead of getting real answers, Warner grilled Gabbard about why she was in Georgia during the FBI’s operation, as if simply observing the process was some sort of criminal act. Gabbard, with calm authority, explained exactly what happened. Her job—as Congress itself outlined—is to oversee election security and give the American people confidence that elections aren’t being hijacked. She wasn’t there as a cop busting into ballot rooms; she was following her legal duty to observe and ensure federal agencies like the FBI don’t overstep.

But did that matter to the Democrats? Not one bit. Warner couldn’t handle the truth, because the left’s strategy is to tie up anyone connected to Trump or election integrity with fake scandals and endless investigations. If Democrats get the majority again, it’s clear they’ll launch witch hunt after witch hunt, hoping to scare off anyone who stands up for secure elections.

It’s telling that the Democrats panic every time someone tries to clean up voting procedures. Their folks in Fulton County are fighting tooth and nail to hide what really happened with those ballots. Naturally, the county is now in a standoff with the federal government over whether those documents were even seized the right way. Even the judge is tired of their games and wants both sides to come clean. But Democrats would rather cry “abuse of power” than support honest elections.

Here’s the cold, hard truth: Democrats are terrified of election integrity. They’re allergic to oversight unless it’s them spying on Americans or kneecapping their political enemies. Maybe Mark Warner and his cronies should spend less time attacking those who defend the vote and more time making sure our elections are actually trustworthy. But why would they? Weak elections and manufactured outrage are the only things keeping the left afloat.
