Biden Demands Two Hundred Billion for War in Iran While American Problems Are Ignored

Washington is back at it again—spending billions like it’s Monopoly money, and this time it’s the Pentagon demanding a jaw-dropping $200 billion for a military adventure they’re calling “Operation Epic Fury” in Iran. That’s right, two hundred billion dollars to fuel another endless war halfway around the world. The so-called experts in the Biden administration seem to have never seen a blank check they didn’t love handing out for a foreign conflict.

What’s even more outrageous? The defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, strutted up to Congress with his hand out, acting like it’s no big deal. That’s the problem with these beltway insiders and liberal elites—they love sending American tax dollars, and more importantly, our troops, to die in dusty places most Americans can’t even find on a map. Meanwhile, real problems at home—the border crisis, crime, failing schools—get ignored or brushed aside.

Liberals are fond of screaming about climate change and “equity” while they open the national wallet for their own pet wars overseas. Isn’t it funny how the same crowd that wants to defund the police and kneecap the military suddenly becomes trigger-happy when a globalist project is on the table? Their hypocrisy is stunning. They lecture us about spending restraint until it comes to bailing out foreign countries or flexing American power to make themselves look good on the world stage.

Why should Americans sacrifice more blood and treasure in another never-ending Middle Eastern quagmire? Iran isn’t attacking our neighborhoods, but criminals crossing the southern border sure are. Maybe if the swamp in D.C. spent half as much energy defending Main Street as they do fighting global wars, Americans would actually feel safer in their own communities.

When will Congress stand up, say no to reckless open checkbooks, and actually put America First? Or is that too much to ask from politicians who seem more interested in playing world police than taking care of their own people?
