The radical abortion agenda is once again being shoved down America’s throat—but this time, it’s the Biden administration doing the shoving. The Department of Health and Human Services just announced attacks on 13 conservative-led states. Their supposed crime? Not strong-arming hospitals and doctors into providing abortions. That’s right—our tax dollars are now funding a witch hunt against states that actually try to protect unborn life.
Hardworking doctors and nurses enter medicine to save lives, not end them. Yet, globalist bureaucrats in D.C. want to force healthcare workers to violate their consciences, their faith, and basic morality. For years, the Weldon Amendment has defended people from this kind of federally mandated evil. But apparently, protecting religious freedom—and plain old common sense—just isn’t trendy enough for Biden’s leftist cronies.
It’s jaw-dropping hypocrisy. The left screams about “choice” until someone chooses to defend the unborn. These same liberals love states’ rights when it suits their agenda. But if a red state dares to not play along with the far-left playbook, out come the federal attack dogs.
America was built on the idea of life, liberty, and personal responsibility—not government coercion and forced abortions. Anyone with an ounce of decency should be worried when Washington thinks it knows better than our families, our churches, and our communities. Their globalist priorities have no place in deciding how states care for their citizens.
How much longer will decent Americans allow far-left elites to treat our values like roadkill on the highway of progressivism? Maybe it’s time to remind the bureaucrats: hands off our freedom, hands off our faith, and hands off our states.
