Iran has shown the world, once again, just how brutal and backwards their regime really is. The sickening execution of a teenage wrestling champion—because he dared to stand up and speak out—shows there is no low they won’t stoop to in order to crush any hope for freedom. Saleh Mohammadi was just 19 years old. His crime? Protesting against a government that wants to rule with an iron fist. Instead of protecting its youth, Iran’s leadership hanged him in public for all to see, sending a message of pure fear.
While Americans argue about “social justice” and “safe spaces,” real heroes are being killed in the streets for wanting basic human rights. The Biden administration, of course, issued another empty warning—just like they always do. It’s all talk and zero backbone. Iran knows they can get away with murder, because all they hear from the West are polite words and empty threats.
Liberals love to claim they stand for human rights, but where is their outrage now? Hollywood celebrities, the mainstream media, and the so-called progressive elite are always quick to criticize American police, conservative laws, and anyone who dares to wave the American flag. But when it comes to brutal dictatorships like Iran—suddenly they go silent. They’re more interested in promoting their globalist fantasies than defending actual victims of tyranny.
This is the reality that comes from appeasement and weakness. For years, globalists and Democrats have insisted we should cozy up to Iran, make deals, and send money. Where has that gotten us? Nowhere. All it’s shown is that dictators laugh at Western weakness while they crack down harder at home.
America is supposed to be the world’s beacon of freedom and courage. Why are our leaders sitting quietly while a young man is strung up for protesting? Maybe if Saleh had glued himself to a painting or glued his hand to the street in Washington, the Biden White House would have noticed. Or maybe the only outrage that matters nowadays is when it fits a woke narrative. Does America have the guts left to stand up for real freedom, or are we just going to keep bowing to tyrants abroad?
