Iran’s power play backfires as furious Saudi Arabia leads Gulf states against Tehran’s blunders

Iran never learns. The Islamic regime keeps trying to throw its weight around the Middle East, and every time, its reckless aggression blows up in its face. Iran’s latest attacks on its Gulf neighbors were supposed to make everyone bow down to Tehran’s wishes. Instead, the Saudi leadership is angrier—and bolder—than ever. It turns out Iran’s big plans to bully its neighbors have totally backfired.

Saudi Arabia is having none of Iran’s games. Their foreign minister isn’t just frustrated—he’s furious. And who can blame him? Iran thinks it can spread terror and chaos throughout the Gulf states while everyone else just sits quietly. But that’s not happening. The Saudis have made it clear that any acts of violence or intimidation aren’t working. In fact, Iran’s aggressive actions have united its neighbors against it even more.

Liberal apologists and bureaucrats in the West love to pretend Iran’s just misunderstood, or that a few kind words and a flimsy nuclear deal will change everything. But conservatives have been warning for years: appeasement doesn’t stop thugs like the mullahs. Iran wants power, not peace. Every failed attack only proves that its leaders are desperate and weak, not strong.

Let’s not ignore the globalist crowd, either. These are the same “experts” who tell America and its allies to keep making endless concessions to regimes like Iran. Where are they now? Silent, as always, when it’s clear Iran’s strategy is crashing and burning. They’d rather risk the safety of Americans and our allies than actually confront what’s happening.

The truth is simple: Iran thought it could push people around without consequence. It’s been a complete disaster. The only thing Tehran succeeded in doing is making the Saudis—along with the rest of the Gulf states—stand together even more. The message to Iran should be loud and clear: keep poking the bear, and don’t be shocked when you get mauled. Isn’t it time the liberals caught up?
