Liberals Deny Iran Danger While Patriots Sound the Alarm

It’s always the same tired story with the left when it comes to Iran—they downplay, distract, and deny the obvious danger right in front of our faces. This week, as usual, the weak knees showed up on cue. Former Trump official Joe Kent piped up saying Iran was not an imminent threat, bizarrely echoing the kind of nonsense you hear from the professional appeasers on Capitol Hill. Thank God for patriots who refuse to play along with this fantasy. Dan Bongino wasn’t having any of it, and he’s right.

Let’s not kid ourselves about Iran. This is a regime that chants “Death to America,” funds terrorists, and never stops trying to undermine our country. But you won’t hear that from the hand-wringing left. Liberals act as if the only “danger” is a mean tweet from a Republican. Iran’s leaders actively plot against our troops and allies, yet left-wing pundits and globalist bureaucrats keep making excuses for them. It’s embarrassing—and dangerous.

When President Trump took decisive action against Iran, targeting actual threats, the usual Washington crowd screamed about “escalation.” Maybe they forgot what happened under Obama—years of blind deals, pallet-loads of cash shipped to Tehran, and nothing but broken promises in return. The left still can’t admit those policies failed. Instead, they try to rewrite history, pretending there was no threat at all.

Bongino laid it out plain and simple: Iran’s threat wasn’t some future theory, it was happening in real time. America has every right—and every responsibility—to protect its people and interests. Why is that controversial? Only in the upside-down world of D.C. liberals, with their heads stuck in the sand, is defending America somehow wrong.

The question isn’t why Trump acted when he did. The real question is why liberals keep siding with our enemies and doubting our own country. Maybe one day, the left will put America first—but don’t hold your breath.
