The radical rot in New York City goes way deeper than most people realize. These days, the city isn’t just run by progressives who turn a blind eye to danger—they’re sharing their homes, their family photos, and apparently their beds with folks who openly sympathize with terrorists. Just look at the new “first lady” of New York, Rama Duwaji, who’s been caught red-handed celebrating violent Palestinian extremists online. This is not a harmless teenage phase. This is support for an ideology that hates America, hates Israel, and, judging by her social media, isn’t so fond of Black people either.
While the Left is busy policing everyone else for “problematic” tweets from years ago, they conveniently ignore bombshells in their own living rooms. Rama Duwaji wasn’t posting silly jokes. She was propping up infamous terrorists—plane hijackers, bomb-makers, you name it. Her old accounts are a shrine to radical violence. One post glorifies a woman who threatened to blow up an entire plane. Others celebrate terrorists who literally tried to level Israeli cities. Yet in the liberal mind, this is apparently the right kind of “diversity” for America. Disgusting.
And don’t let them blame it on her being young or living overseas. She was in her late teens and early twenties when she made these posts. Some of this was as recent as 2017—not ancient history, folks. Duwaji’s family background and years in the Middle East only deepen the questions about what values are being imported straight into New York’s leadership. Is anyone surprised the city no longer feels safe or even recognizable? When those at the top sympathize with the worst elements of global jihad, no wonder the culture is turning upside down.
It’s also a classic case of liberal hypocrisy. Democrats love to screech about “white supremacy” whenever it suits them, but when actual Islamist threats show up—like bombs outside Gracie Mansion—they immediately change the subject. Forget “equity” and “inclusion.” When it’s their own party, their own city, and their own people, it’s radio silence. Imagine if a conservative official’s spouse had lauded a white nationalist or dropped the n-word as a teenager. Career over. But for the woke elite? They get a pass.
Let’s face it: New York is being governed by people who either don’t understand or simply don’t care about real threats to America. If the mayor himself can barely handle a snowstorm, what happens when there’s another terrorist plot? And what does it say about the trajectory of the city when the “first lady” is cheering on groups that want to see the West destroyed? This is what happens when globalist ideology trumps American values. How much more will New Yorkers take before demanding leaders who put American safety and sanity first?
