Donald Trump just did something the left didn’t see coming: he refused to send more American troops overseas in response to the Iran conflict. While Democrat politicians and their media lapdogs love to scream “war” at every turn, Trump once again stands tall and puts America first.
Liberals love to play pretend: they act like they’re anti-war, but the moment they feel they can score political points or push globalist nonsense, they’re begging for boots on the ground. When it comes to Iran, that same tired song keeps repeating. The left wanted chaos, more troops, and more American blood spilled. But not on Trump’s watch.
Trump knows exactly why American families are tired of the endless wars cheered on by Washington elites. Fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters deserve a Commander-in-Chief who values their lives more than the approval of United Nations bureaucrats and deep state warmongers. Liberals talk about “compassion,” but would rather see our soldiers overseas than fix the disasters plaguing American streets.
By refusing to escalate troop levels, Trump proves once again that peace through strength is more than a catchphrase. It’s about real leadership. It’s about showing the world that America won’t be bullied into another foreign quagmire just because career politicians say so.
So where does that leave the “America last” crowd? Scrambling, as usual. They can’t stand when Trump does the right thing for everyday Americans. While Joe Biden takes advice from woke activists who think every crisis is a chance to send more troops and rack up another failed mission, Trump puts a stop to reckless intervention. Maybe it’s time the left finally admits that Trump—like it or not—actually knows how to keep America strong and free. Why is common sense so hard for liberals to grasp?
