Delilah’s Law: When Democrats Play Politics with Our Children’s Lives
It’s almost impossible to imagine the heartache the Coleman family lives with each day. Their five-year-old daughter, Delilah, didn’t just have her life shattered—she became the latest victim of a broken system that puts globalist, open-borders ideology above American safety. She was struck by a trucker who never should’ve been on the road. Why? Because that truck was being driven by an illegal alien—someone who grabbed a commercial driver’s license under a cloud of incompetence and loopholes, all thanks to liberal policies.
Delilah’s Law is the answer America needs. It’s not a radical bill. It doesn’t shut the door on legal immigrants. In fact, Delilah’s own mother came to this country the right way—by following our laws. What this bill would do is tighten the rules on who gets a commercial driver’s license. It demands real oversight, real checks, and real consequences for the states that keep letting dangerous, unqualified drivers get behind the wheel of 40-ton trucks. Yet Democrats refuse to get on board. Why? Because for them, protecting illegal aliens is more important than protecting American families.
Look at the facts. Blue states like California make it a breeze for illegal aliens to get a license—sometimes even a commercial one. Then, because licenses from one state are recognized everywhere, these low standards become everyone’s problem. That means highways across the country are less safe. It’s nothing short of reckless. These are the results of open border policies pushed by Democrats, cheered on by globalists, and quietly encouraged by the woke elite who never have to deal with the consequences.
The horror doesn’t stop with Delilah. All across America, similar tragedies are happening. Families in Indiana have also paid the price, as underqualified, non-English-speaking drivers crash massive trucks into innocent people. The left tries to call these stories “statistical minorities.” They shrug it off as no big deal, as if one devastated family is acceptable collateral damage for their political agenda. Tell that to the Colemans. Tell that to any parent who’s lost a child for the sake of so-called diversity and “compassion.”
Marcus Coleman is not some partisan hack. He’s an American trucker, married to a legal immigrant, fighting for nothing more than safer roads. He’s begged Democrats to listen, but they turn a deaf ear over and over. Maybe if he claimed he was an illegal alien, he’d get their attention.
