Harvard University, once the gold standard of elite education, is now the poster child for woke hypocrisy and weak leadership. The Justice Department is finally stepping in, taking Harvard to court for allowing antisemitic hatred to run wild after the atrocities of October 7, 2023. Instead of protecting Jewish and Israeli students, Harvard let mobs terrorize them while hiding behind empty promises and selective rule enforcement. Liberals in charge at Harvard sat on their hands as students were harassed, assaulted, and excluded—simply because of their heritage or support for Israel.
This is what happens when leftist ideology eats away at basic American decency. Diversity rules the day—unless you happen to be Jewish or Israeli. For all Harvard’s lectures on “inclusion,” they had no trouble looking the other way when radical activists created a climate of fear and violence for Jewish kids. Federal law makes it clear: if you take public money, you follow the law and protect civil rights. But Harvard pretended their platitudes were enough, even as Jewish and Israeli students were chased from social spaces and extracurricular activities.
Let’s not forget, Harvard isn’t just failing at the job—they’re doing it while raking in billions from the American taxpayer. Over $2.6 billion from the Department of Health and Human Services alone, and who knows how much more from other agencies. Why should a single penny of our money fund a school that can’t even stand up to antisemitic thuggery? When the feds told Harvard to shape up, the school tossed out vague “commitments” but refused to actually enforce the rules. It’s classic leftist double-talk—look busy, do nothing, and hope the media covers for you.
While the woke crowd preaches tolerance, they’ve allowed hatred against Jews and Israelis to flourish. This is not about free speech or protest—it’s about bigotry and physical intimidation on campus, ignored by those who claim to care about human rights. The message from Harvard’s ivory tower is clear: some minorities matter more than others, especially if your struggle doesn’t fit their narrative.
The fact that it even took a federal lawsuit to force Harvard’s hand is a disgrace. The ugly truth is, the Left will tolerate almost anything—so long as the victims are the wrong kind of minority and the perpetrators fit their radical script. American students deserve better, and it’s time to ask: how many more taxpayer-funded lefty institutions are hiding behind woke slogans while trampling on basic rights?
