Hochul begs New Yorkers she drove out to return and pay for her failures

New Yorkers are watching a trainwreck in slow motion, and Governor Kathy Hochul is at the wheel. First, she chased away hardworking taxpayers and families with sky-high taxes, suffocating mandates, and crime surging in every corner. She told freedom-loving citizens that New York wasn’t for them. And guess what? They left. Where did they go? To states like Florida, where freedom, safety, and common sense still mean something.

Now, in a mind-boggling twist, Hochul is practically begging those same exiles to come crawling back to her broken, bankrupt utopia. It’s not enough that these refugees took their wallets, their businesses, and their values to friendlier places—Hochul wants them to return, and she wants them to drag even more taxpayers back with them. Why? Because someone needs to cover the costs of her out-of-control spending and failed policies.

It’s painfully clear: this wasn’t about public safety or community. It was always about milking Americans dry for as long as she could get away with it. Hochul and her liberal cronies thought they could insult and ignore New Yorkers who dared to question their radical agenda. Now that the consequences have hit their bottom line, suddenly, they want those they drove out to become their financial saviors.

It’s the height of liberal hypocrisy. For years, New York’s leaders demonized conservatives, business owners, and anyone who dared speak against their woke dogma. They pushed them out, then acted shocked when those people built better lives elsewhere. It’s almost comical—if it weren’t so sad to see a great state run into the ground by left-wing incompetence and arrogance.

Does Hochul really think patriotic Americans want to come back just to foot the bill for her failures? If New York’s leaders want people to return, maybe they should try lowering taxes, stopping the crime wave, and restoring real freedom. Until then, why would any sane person want to return to the same failed liberal playground they escaped? New Yorkers have already voted with their feet. Maybe Hochul should listen for once.
