Kathy Hochul is watching New York crumble under the weight of left-wing disasters, and what does she do? She begs the same rich New Yorkers who fled her tax-crazy state to come crawling back from Florida. Hochul doesn’t want to fix the real problems. She wants the cash that once flowed from the Empire State’s best and brightest—the ones her party chased away.
Instead of taking on the radical left and standing up for average taxpayers, Hochul stands shoulder-to-shoulder with activists who worship “Patriotic Millionaires” and fancy welfare programs. She tries to make it sound patriotic to fund her gravy train. But the sad truth is, hardworking families are barely making it while elites pile on programs the state can’t afford. The only thing New York exports these days are taxpayers and jobs.
This is peak liberal hypocrisy. Hochul and her pals have spent years punishing job creators, slapping on new taxes, and rolling out the red carpet for illegal immigrants. Crime runs wild while law-abiding citizens get squeezed for every last penny. The loudmouths on the left want to sound generous with other people’s money—but when the well runs dry, they always come back begging for help from the people they drove out.
But Hochul refuses to confront the real rot inside her party. She won’t say a word against socialists who think money grows on trees or anti-American globalists who put foreign handouts before the needs of hardworking New Yorkers. The rich see the writing on the wall. That’s why so many escape to Florida, where basic freedoms and low taxes still matter.
If Hochul had any backbone, she’d stop pandering and actually start fixing the mess. Instead, she just keeps asking the golden geese to return to the henhouse—while the foxes run wild. Why would anyone trust New York with their money, their safety, or their future when the state’s own governor is afraid to stand up to the leftist mob?
