And let’s not ignore why gas is getting so expensive in the first place. Thanks to Joe Biden’s weak foreign policy and the constant blundering of the left, the world is now at war again. The Strait of Hormuz is closed, blocking vital oil shipments. Prices have already soared past $100 a barrel, and it’s hard-working Americans—truckers, moms, everyday workers—who suffer for it.
What does the left offer? More climate change lectures and fancy speeches from their D.C. ivory towers. They wag their fingers at anyone who dares to question sky-high energy prices, pretending it’s somehow patriotic to pay more for gas as the world burns. Meanwhile, globalist elites fly around in private jets, shielded from the policies they forced on everyone else.
Governor Kemp is refusing to let Georgia families get crushed. Suspending the gas tax is bold and necessary. Leftist politicians in other states should take notes, but instead, they’ll keep blaming everyone but themselves while their citizens pay through the nose.
If Democrats spent half as much time actually solving problems as they do pushing their anti-American energy agendas, maybe we’d have some relief at the pump.
