Somehow, the radical left gets its way in yet another courtroom. This time, a judge has come riding to the rescue of the liberal media, blocking perfectly reasonable Pentagon rules meant to limit reckless reporters from storming into the nation’s most sensitive defense headquarters. The Trump administration wanted to exercise some common sense—setting limits on who gets to poke their noses into America’s security vault. But a federal judge decided the New York Times, of all people, knows better.
It’s the same tired playbook: liberal activists run to left-leaning judges anytime they don’t get what they want. They scream about press freedom, as if our military owes the New York Times an open-door invitation to every war plan, briefing, and security secret. Meanwhile, these anti-American newsrooms won’t think twice about splashing vital information across their front pages, even if it puts our soldiers in danger.
It’s laughable. These media elites act as if their so-called “right to know” is more important than national security, just because they hate the Trump administration. Would they react the same if this were done under Biden? Not a chance. When Democrats lock things down, suddenly it’s all about “national security.” But when President Trump tries to protect America, the activist judges trip over themselves to side with rich, globalist reporters.
Anyone with common sense knows that not every journalist should get unrestricted access to the Pentagon. Yet the judge tossed out key parts of the Trump policy, bowing to big-media lobbyists instead of backing America’s defenders. The left celebrates, patting itself on the back for another “victory” over the rule of law and our country’s safety.
This is what happens when unelected judges, pampered reporters, and career bureaucrats put their heads together: America gets weaker, and our enemies get bolder. Maybe next time a liberal judge feels like playing hero for the media, they should think twice about whose interests they really serve—the American people, or the globalist elites desperate to keep President Trump in the dark. Whose side are they really on?
