For years, California’s left-wing politicians have forced the people to honor Cesar Chavez on March 31st. They pushed the story of Chavez as a hero, pretending he was some kind of saint. But the truth has come to light. The real Chavez was no angel — he abused his power and left a trail of broken workers. Yet, the liberal establishment kept shoving him down everyone’s throats, showing once again just how out of touch they are with real American values.
It’s finally time for a change. Why let radicals decide who our kids look up to? Why are we celebrating a man with a dark past instead of the real heroes—the farmworkers who sweat and toil in the fields every single day? These men and women put food on our tables. They don’t grandstand for cameras or play political games. They work hard, for long hours, in brutal conditions, while Sacramento politicians sit in their ivory towers pretending to “care.”
Liberals love to talk about “equity” and “justice” — but when it comes to honoring honest labor, they choose a union kingpin caught up with abuse scandals over millions of honest, working Americans. It’s hypocrisy at its worst, and it proves again that the left will always pick their own, no matter how rotten. They focus on icons for political points, not on real workers who make our country run.
Farmworker Day would actually celebrate the backbone of California. These people aren’t looking for a handout or a trophy. They just want respect for their hard work. Leftists, who claim to champion the working class, have no problem ignoring them if it means protecting their precious political figurehead.
Here’s a question for the woke crowd: isn’t it time to stop glorifying a flawed activist and start respecting honest labor? Conservatives have always stood for real Americans, not left-wing idols. March 31st should finally recognize the people who truly deserve it—the farmworkers, not another liberal myth.
