Drones Over DC Spark Panic Among Elites While Ordinary Americans Are Left Defenseless

Once again, the powerful seem to panic only when their own safety is threatened. Federal agencies are suddenly shouting from the rooftops about the “dangers” of drones in restricted airspace. Why? Because a few drones reportedly popped up over Fort Lesley J. McNair in Washington, D.C.—the same place where Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio live. Amazing. The Biden administration will ignore lawlessness across the country, but the moment an electronic toy buzzes over a political elite’s house, it’s Armageddon.

For years, Americans have watched Democrats and their globalist buddies drone on about border security, national sovereignty, and the “right” for anyone to come and go as they please. They shrug when fentanyl pours across our open border. Violent crime is out of control in our cities. Americans are told not to worry, not to overreact. But let a couple of drones drift through D.C. airspace? Suddenly, that’s the real threat to national security.

It’s nothing but hypocrisy from top to bottom. The Left endlessly lectures us about privacy and government overreach—unless it’s their privacy at stake. Then, suddenly, the “experts” come out in force. Federal agencies line up to remind us about the “serious penalties” for flying in restricted airspace. They make no such fuss when American families lose their rights, their businesses, or their lives because of failed liberal policies.

The American people are sick and tired of elites changing the rules to protect themselves while they leave the rest of us exposed. They want drone laws enforced only when it’s politically convenient. The hypocrisy is staggering. How about this: protect Americans first, and stop acting only when the ruling class feels threatened.

If the swamp in D.C. cared half as much about our open borders as they do about their fancy restricted airspace, maybe the country wouldn’t be a magnet for criminals and chaos. But don’t hold your breath. Who do these globalist elites really work for—America, or just themselves?
