A so-called “nonprofit” leader just got 16 years behind bars for stealing nearly $20 million from a taxpayer-funded meal program. This money was supposed to feed children in desperate need. Instead, it went to luxury cars, million-dollar mansions, and fat real estate investments for herself and her buddies. This wasn’t just a little cheating. This was the biggest scam in Missouri’s public assistance history—right under the noses of those so-called government watchdogs.

Liberals love to promise they’ll save the poor with “compassionate” government handouts. But time after time, we see the truth: these bloated programs do nothing but make it easier for greedy insiders to plunder the American taxpayer.
