One year ago, Ahmed al-Sharaa stepped into power in Syria. Since then, global elites and their media puppets have tried to paint his regime as a “stabilizing force” in a burning Middle East. Sure, Syria may look calm on the outside. But we all know calmness under a dictator is just another way of crushing freedom. Now, as Lebanon boils next door, this so-called “stability” faces its first true test. And let’s be honest: the world’s leftist leaders are either too clueless or too cowardly to confront what’s really happening.
The liberals love to talk about “regional security” and “delicate diplomacy.” Funny how that always seems to involve appeasing autocrats. Syria hasn’t magically become a beacon of peace. At best, it’s just one bad day away from dragging the region into chaos. That’s what happens when the West, under weak liberal leadership, lets tyrants like al-Sharaa play kingmaker. Nobody is fooled—except, perhaps, for the globalist think tanks lining up to praise him.
Now, Lebanon is the flashpoint. For years, Syria has been sticking its fingers in Lebanese affairs, undermining their democracy and propping up cronies who do its bidding. Does the media care? Of course not. Maybe interfering in a sovereign neighbor isn’t a problem when it’s done by the right kind of dictator. The hypocrisy is jaw-dropping. If an American ally tried this, CNN and The New York Times would be foaming at the mouth.
Middle East peace has never been this fragile, and yet the left refuses to see the truth. They tell us Syria under al-Sharaa is “more stable”—as if a strongman’s boot on the neck of his people is something to celebrate. The Biden administration and their progressive buddies would never hold Syria accountable, because that might mean admitting their own policies are a disaster.
This is what happens when you trade American strength for empty words and weak diplomacy. Lebanon’s crisis isn’t just a test for Syria—it’s a warning for the entire world. Stand back and watch, or stand up for freedom? What side are you on?
