Democrats want to defund ICE and open the border to chaos

Democrats just can’t stop attacking the men and women who keep us safe. Now, far-left Senator Jeff Merkley is out slamming Republicans for wanting to do something about our broken immigration system. According to Merkley, the GOP is looking to shut down the Department of Homeland Security. Why? Because Democrats refuse to give one extra dime to ICE — the agency tasked with catching criminals and stopping the chaos at our border.

Let’s get one thing straight: for years, liberals have sabotaged border enforcement at every turn. First, they call ICE “secret police” to scare Americans. Next, they applaud sanctuary cities that let violent criminals roam free. Now they’re proud to starve ICE of resources, all to please their globalist masters and woke activist base. It’s embarrassingly clear whose side the Democrats are on, and it isn’t the American people.

Republicans are sick and tired of this dangerous clown show. They see the invasion at the southern border—millions pouring in, drugs flooding our communities, families living in fear. And what do Democrats have to offer? Name-calling, virtue-signaling, and a plan to handcuff the very agents risking their lives for our security. While our tax dollars are wasted on pet projects and handouts, protecting our own nation is suddenly too expensive for these left-wing zealots.

Merkley and his crew have the nerve to act shocked when conservatives push back. Sorry, but Americans don’t want open borders. We don’t want criminals slipping through the cracks while politicians preach about “compassion.” The real compassion is safeguarding our neighborhoods and respecting the law.
