Let’s face it: Too many people today want to cry unfair the moment life slaps them with the aftermath of their own choices. It’s no wonder these families lose their minds when a judge grows a spine and dishes out real justice. Liberals cringe at harsh sentences and cry about “second chances,” ignoring that first chance ended the second someone decided to rob someone else.
Sorry, but in Texas, they don’t cater to fragile feelings and excuses. They believe actions have consequences—a lesson most American families used to teach at home, before the left started parenting through hashtags and TikTok videos. When parents defend criminal behavior instead of condemning it, we end up with a generation that can’t handle responsibility or reality. That’s exactly what these courtroom antics scream: a failure to parent and a refusal to accept accountability.
Let’s not pretend the criminals are the real victims here. The real tragedy is the people terrorized, robbed, or worse, while progressive elites whine about “systemic oppression.” Maybe if more courtroom families erupted when their kid first broke the law, we wouldn’t need to lock them up for 25 years to finally get the message across. But liberals are too busy blaming everything except bad choices and bad parenting.
This country needs more judges like the ones in Texas—unafraid to stand against the mob and do what’s right. Maybe other states should take notes before it’s too late. At the end of the day, would you rather your city be run by tough judges or by coddling activists who turn a blind eye to crime? The answer should be as clear as day.
