America has let the government run wild again. For twenty-plus years, the Transportation Security Administration has fumbled through the airports, groping grandmas, rifling through diaper bags, and barking orders at law-abiding citizens like criminals. Yet somehow, liberals act like this federal monstrosity is the only thing standing between us and disaster in the skies.
Why does the TSA still exist? Even common-sense conservatives like Governor Ron DeSantis are starting to ask the obvious question: has the TSA made travel any safer, or is it just one more bureaucratic circus? Not a single credible story has emerged about these blue-gloved agents stopping a real terrorist. Instead, they snag water bottles, force us to shuffle barefoot, and jam up the airport lines while the actual threats slip right past.
Let’s not forget, before the TSA, private companies—contracted by the airlines—handled security. Was it perfect? Of course not. But neither is this useless army of federal agents. After 9/11, globalists and big-government types rushed to centralize control, promising a safer future if we’d just hand over more power and privacy. Two decades later, what do we have? Harassed passengers, more government surveillance, and billions of wasted taxpayer dollars.
Meanwhile, terrorists have shifted focus to other cowardly tactics—mass shootings and bombings—not plane hijackings. Yet the TSA marches on, pretending they’re the thin blue line holding the skies together. Any talk of privatizing airline security sends the Left into a panic—not because they’re worried about safety, but because cutting government waste and returning control to the American people terrifies them.
When will we wake up and admit the game is rigged for government expansion, not our protection? Why do we let politicians decide how we travel—or worse, turn airports into training grounds for compliance? The answer isn’t more federal power. It’s getting back to what made America great—trusting free markets, personal responsibility, and common sense over government overreach. Are you ready to take your shoes off for the next 25 years, or do you want your freedom back?
