Another American life has been stolen, and once again, it’s because of the open borders chaos pushed by the radical left. An 18-year-old college freshman, Sheridan Gorman, is dead—murdered in cold blood in the sanctuary city of Chicago. And the accused killer? He’s an illegal alien, someone who never should have set foot on American soil, but was let loose into this country thanks to Biden’s reckless, anti-American immigration policies.
Chicago loves to tout itself as a “sanctuary city,” a woke badge of honor worn by liberal politicians who care more about optics than about the safety of their own citizens. While they pat themselves on the back for virtue signaling, American families are paying the price. Sheridan Gorman’s family knows that pain now—a pain caused by political games played with the rule of law.
This tragedy is no accident. Sanctuary policies make it easy for dangerous people to hide from justice. Instead of working with law enforcement to remove illegals with criminal records, Democrats would rather tie the hands of police and protect people who have no legal right to be here. Is protecting illegal aliens more important to them than protecting American teens like Sheridan? Their actions speak for themselves.
The Biden administration has turned America into a doormat for anyone willing to break the law to get in. Instead of securing our borders, Biden’s team releases illegal aliens onto our streets, all in the name of some twisted globalist agenda. And the mainstream media? Silent. They’re more interested in calling critics “racist” than exposing the ugly truth: liberal policies are killing our children.
How many American kids have to die before the left admits their sanctuary city experiment has failed? Sheridan Gorman deserved better. America deserves better. If this is the “compassion” progressives are pushing, maybe it’s time for real leaders to step up—and start putting Americans first for a change.
