Code Pink Hits a New Low: Playing Tourist for Cuba’s Communist Regime

What does it take for so-called “peace activists” to show their true colors? Apparently, all it takes is a free trip to Havana and a handshake from a dictator. This week, the hard-left squad over at Code Pink ditched any pretense of decency and jetted off for a taxpayer-funded pity party with Cuba’s communist elite. They called it a “humanitarian mission.” But don’t buy it. This was nothing more than a desperate attempt to prop up a brutal regime and trash American values along the way.

While the Cuban people suffer in darkness, hungry and desperate under their failed socialist government, Code Pink and their crew rolled into Havana with big smiles. Their “convoy” strutted into a five-star hotel—one of the only places on the island with functioning lights. Cubans go without power, but these privileged tourists get the red-carpet treatment, courtesy of socialist puppeteers. It’s globalist hypocrisy at its finest: the communists can’t feed their own people, but they’ll bend over backward to impress a few useful idiots from the West.

Even more revolting, these American activists didn’t just ignore the misery all around them—they volunteered to become mouthpieces for Cuban propaganda. While ordinary Cubans can’t speak out without fear of arrest, Code Pink had no problem cozying up to Cuba’s so-called “president” at a fancy convention center. They’re not bringing hope, they’re whitewashing tyranny. All they care about is being anti-Trump and anti-American, no matter the human cost.

Liberals claim to care about oppression—unless the oppressors are socialists. Then, suddenly, all the outrage vanishes. Code Pink proves that the new left doesn’t stand for freedom or justice. Instead, they worship any regime that hates America and slobber over globalist dictators just to score political points back home.

Ask yourself this: If Code Pink loves communism so much, why do they always come running back to the land of freedom? Maybe it’s time they stay in their “well-lit” Cuban paradise. After all, the rest of us are done paying for their anti-American vacations.
