Paramount finally cancels woke Star Trek after fans abandon franchise

Paramount+ has finally done what real Star Trek fans have been begging for—pulled the plug on its woke, progressive embarrassment of a show. Liberals tried to take an iconic sci-fi universe and turn it into a never-ending lecture about gender and sexuality. They thought if they just plastered enough rainbow flags on the hull of the Enterprise, everyone would tune in and cheer. Well, America tuned out.

Here’s the simple truth: Hollywood’s obsession with pushing left-wing values and identity politics has killed another classic franchise. Star Trek was supposed to be about bold exploration and daring adventure. But recent versions looked more like a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training seminar in space. Actual storytelling used to matter. Now, it’s all about virtue signals and checking boxes.

The elites who green-lighted this mess had that smug attitude we know all too well—convinced that a show loaded with “representation” would win endless applause. But forcing agendas down viewers’ throats doesn’t create good TV. People don’t want to watch a sci-fi soap opera about who’s dating who in the engine room. They want heroes overcoming evil—not another Progressive after-school special.

Nobody is surprised that this ship crashed and burned. Hollywood liberals have lost the plot—literally. Instead of exciting audiences with compelling stories, they chase approval from Twitter activists and outside global interests who want to hijack American culture. It’s a slap in the face to the loyal fans who built these franchises from the ground up.

Now, Paramount+ has finally put this failed experiment out of its misery. Maybe next time, these coastal elites will remember what made Star Trek great before they tried turning starships into pride floats. If they keep ignoring real Americans, how long until every classic series is ruined?
