America is watching, once again, as bureaucracy fails to keep us safe. The recent crash at LaGuardia Airport—where an Air Canada jet collided with a fire truck—should never have happened. People put their trust in government agencies like the Department of Transportation and the NTSB. But when emergency vehicles and passenger planes are playing chicken on one of the busiest runways in the country, it’s proof positive: these so-called “experts” aren’t doing their jobs.
Liberal leaders love to brag about safety regulations and endless rules they say keep us protected. But these rules are useless when the people in charge are asleep at the wheel. Where’s the accountability? The Port Authority and government officials hold press conferences, patting themselves on the back for investigating—a little late, don’t you think? The crash already happened! Families were put in danger, travelers traumatized, all under the watch of agencies spending millions in taxpayer money. Yet we’re supposed to believe more bureaucracy is the answer?
This is what happens when you put your faith in big government instead of common sense. Officials talk about updating procedures and learning lessons, but Americans are tired of being guinea pigs for their reckless policies. Instead of focusing on diversity quotas, political correctness, or keeping global elites happy, maybe it’s time these bureaucrats focus on doing the basic job: protect American lives.
You won’t hear this from the left, because liberals are allergic to blaming government incompetence. They’ll blame “systemic issues” or call for more funding—as if throwing cash at the problem ever fixes anything. When will they admit that endless layers of committees, task forces, and “experts” can’t guarantee safety? Real security comes from diligent workers and strong leadership—not more red tape.
Wake up, America. How many more “tragic incidents” like this will it take before we demand real change? Is anyone in charge actually competent—or are we all just passengers, trusting the system, hoping not to crash?
