The high court has revived the fight of Gabriel Olivier, a street preacher who bravely shared his Christian faith on the sidewalks of Brandon, Mississippi. In 2021, while exercising his First Amendment rights, police arrested Olivier—proving once again how far the government will go to silence voices they don’t like.
Liberals always pretend to care about “diversity” and “tolerance,” but the minute a Christian dares to speak up, they send in the cops. Their double standard is laughable. If Gabriel Olivier had been shouting about climate hysteria or globalist open border nonsense, Brandon officials would have thrown him a parade. But because he dared to preach the Gospel, he found himself in handcuffs.
The left thinks it can pick and choose who gets to enjoy free speech. They cheer for radicals gluing themselves to highways to protest fossil fuels. But let a Christian open his Bible in public? Suddenly, local bureaucrats say that’s “disorderly.” It’s a pathetic attempt to control what beliefs we’re allowed to express in our own towns.
Thank God the Supreme Court hasn’t completely caved to the progressive mob. By taking up Olivier’s challenge, the justices are reminding us what real freedom looks like. Free speech isn’t just for college professors or left-wing activists. It belongs to every American, whether the liberal elites like it or not. Christians have just as much right to speak their truth in public as anyone else, and it’s about time someone stood up to defend them.
Is America still the land of the free if a street preacher can be dragged off to jail just for sharing his faith? Or are we letting blue-state busybodies and anti-Christian bigots decide what’s allowed on Main Street? The Supreme Court’s move is a wake-up call. If conservatives don’t keep up the fight, the left’s cancel culture will shut us all up for good.
