Trump must ditch DC elites and listen to real Americans on Iran war and gas prices

The so-called experts in Washington love to wring their hands and talk in circles when a crisis hits. But when it comes to the Iran war, the best ideas aren’t coming from inside the Beltway—they’re coming from regular Americans who actually get things done. President Trump—America’s dealmaker-in-chief—needs to ignore the noise and start listening to these people.

First, let’s talk about energy independence. Thanks to decades of failed liberal policies and climate hysteria, the United States has made itself vulnerable to every little oil shock overseas. Why? Because coastal elites would rather lecture us about cow farts than let Americans drill and frack at home. Here’s an idea: instead of letting Iran’s games jack up gas prices, open up American energy—full throttle. Approve every pipeline. Greenlight new refineries. Put our own oil workers back to work and stop funding our enemies every time we fill up the tank.

Second, stop the endless handouts to countries that hate us. For years, the American taxpayer has been forced to bankroll failed regimes and supposed “allies” in the Middle East. What’s the result? More chaos and more attacks against our interests. It’s time for strict accountability. Foreign aid should be tied directly to results and America’s security. If they can’t act like grown-ups or they side with radicals, their cash gets cut off, period.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are nowhere to be found with any real solutions. All we get from them is bad-mouthing America and telling us to apologize to the world. They care more about scoring points on social media than actually keeping us safe or making life easier for the middle class. Imagine if their utopian globalist fantasies ruled the day—Americans would be paying twice as much for gas and begging Iran for mercy.

Trump knows how to win. These two moves—unleash American energy and slam the brakes on wasteful foreign aid—are exactly what real leaders do. The question is: will he listen to the people, or let the DC swamp drag us down again? One thing’s for sure—the left will never put America first, so somebody has to.
