When it comes to courage under fire, President Trump shows the rest of Washington what real backbone looks like. Nowhere is this more clear than in his direction to ICE agents at our airports — no masks, no hiding, no bowing to the hysteria that liberals create whenever they want to cow America into submission. Trump’s choice here is about more than a piece of cloth over a face. It’s about standing tall and showing the world that America’s protectors don’t cower, even when the so-called “shutdown” drags on because Democrats want to play games with our country’s security.
While the Department of Homeland Security shutdown drags past the one-month mark, everyday Americans are sick and tired of watching the Left’s political games. Instead of doing their jobs, liberals want to paralyze the TSA and ICE, hoping chaos at airports will finally get them a few more political points. They want to force border agents to look weak and vulnerable — just like their own globalist agendas.
Trump, unlike any spineless politician in D.C., knows an army in masks sends the wrong message. Our ICE agents are not meant to blend into the crowd or fade away. They’re there to enforce laws and keep dangerous criminals out of our communities, even when Democrats in Congress try every trick to undermine them. Liberals would rather see our nation’s borders erased and law enforcement officers muzzled — but President Trump refuses to let that happen.
It’s laughable to watch Democrats complain about the shutdown, pretending to care about airport security, while at the same time holding America hostage for their open borders fantasy. They wring their hands about health and safety, but only when it fits their narrative. Meanwhile, they ignore the very real threats pouring across our borders and stab our ICE and TSA officers in the back every chance they get.
America is watching. The truth is, courageous leadership has returned to the White House. Trump isn’t afraid to show the world that law enforcement stands firm, unmasked, and unafraid. Maybe if the Left spent less time worrying about how things look and more time about how things actually are, this country wouldn’t be stuck in a pointless shutdown. When did common sense become controversial? Only under liberal rule.
