Trump vows to crush Cuban communism and stop China and Russia before it’s too late

Joe Biden and his buddies keep talking about how America needs to “engage” with brutal foreign regimes, as if friendship bracelets and hashtags are going to save anyone. But President Trump has always seen reality: Cuba is a threat to American values and a puppet for powerful enemies like Russia and China. Instead of bowing to these dictators, Trump wants to finally cut off the Cuban regime from its global puppet masters.

It’s no secret how Cuba landed in this mess. After the Castro communists took over in 1959, they snuggled right up to the Soviet Union. Moscow poured in billions to prop up the dictatorship, buying loyalty and spreading Marxist garbage through the Americas. But the Soviet gravy train crashed in 1991. Since then, Cuba has been in deep trouble, begging for handouts from anyone who’d listen.

Now they’ve got a new set of patrons: China and Russia. Washington elites pretend not to notice. The liberal establishment coddles the Cuban regime, hoping it’ll become democratic if we just smile hard enough. In reality, all we get is more Chinese spyware and more Russian military deals in our own backyard. The American Left is either blind, naive, or actually enjoys seeing communists stirring up chaos 90 miles off Florida.

Cuba’s begging bowl is empty, their oil reserves are dry, and the street protests are growing. The dictatorship is panicking, suddenly acting like it’s open to the U.S.—but only because Beijing and Moscow can’t bail them out fast enough. This is what happens when you play footsie with tyrants for decades. Liberal policies handed Cuba right to our enemies, and now ordinary Cubans pay the price.

Trump’s strategy is simple: strangle the regime’s support networks and remind the world what America stands for—freedom, not fake “diplomacy” with gangsters. Isn’t it about time we stopped funding communism with wishful thinking? America can’t afford more weakness, and the world certainly doesn’t need another liberal lecture about “engagement.” Maybe it’s time the Left finally picked a side—America’s side.
