Why are woke feminists silent when Iranian women risk their lives for real freedom

Liberal feminists love to talk about standing up for women—until it means speaking out against their favorite leftist regimes and pet causes. In recent months, California’s loudest activists have taken to the streets for “Palestinian” rights, waving flags and screaming about freedom. But when Iranian women fight for real freedom, suddenly those same activists vanish. Why? Because blasting America is always easier than criticizing brutal foreign dictators.

While so-called feminists shout for every left-wing cause they can find, actual heroes are risking everything across the world. Just look at Iran’s women’s national soccer team. These women put their lives on the line simply by refusing to sing for a tyrannical regime. They fled to Australia, seeking protection. Where are the Hollywood feminists? Where’s the outrage from the progressive crowd in Los Angeles? Crickets.

Liberals are quick to call America oppressive, but ignore Iran’s real gender apartheid. If you care about women, do you only care when it fits your political narrative? Or are you just scared to criticize regimes that aren’t run by Western men? The hypocrisy is out in the open. These activists will rage against police in New York or scream about Israel, but they stay silent when women are jailed or killed for taking off their headscarves in Tehran. That’s not courage. That’s cowardice.

Globalist elites want us to believe their one-size-fits-all activism cares about everyone. But that’s a lie. They’ll do anything to bash America and ignore real injustice if it means keeping their woke street cred. The silence on Iranian women’s struggles screams volumes. Maybe it’s time for these “progressives” to admit they don’t care about women at all—they care about pushing their anti-American agenda.

The left doesn’t want to face the ugly truth: freedom for women isn’t universal, and it isn’t guaranteed. But you won’t see them marching in the streets for the women of Iran. For the so-called champions of women’s rights, their moral outrage only goes as far as their political convenience. What does it say when American activists care more about virtue signaling than defending the truly oppressed?
